Located in the Summerville, South Carolina community, The O’Keefe Academy of Irish Dance is focused on building every student's confidence in a fun learning environment that fosters lifelong friendships and a love of Irish dance and culture.
Our Founder and Director, Lizzy O’Keefe, has over 15 years of teaching experience and knows that students learn in different ways and are motivated by different methods. As a result, her goal is to tailor classes to help each student thrive and achieve their very best!
The goal of our in-studio training is overall technique and performance, physical fitness and cross training, confidence building, mental resilience, musicality, and Irish culture.

Lizzy is passionate about every aspect of Irish dance. She is an upbeat and positive teacher who is focused on perfecting form and technique in the studio. She has a wealth of knowledge for all things Irish dance, and is always on top of the latest style trends. Her students learn to dance masterfully and look fabulous while doing it!
My daughter says her dancing has gotten sharper and more precise since having Lizzy as her teacher.
